We can repair your Baltic Amber Jewelry for a super low rate. When the Baltic Amber Necklaces were designed, the clasp was meant to be the weakest point of the necklace as a way to safeguard it from becoming a choking hazard; however we still recommend adult supervision when your child is wearing a teething necklace. But from time to time, those little hands can get a bit grabby and rip yours, a sibling's, or their own necklace clear off. No worry, the necklace can be salvaged and made into something even better!
We can now restring your Baltic Amber Jewelry which includes restringing your beads onto a new cord and replacing the clasp if needed. Just purchase this repair service below and we will be in contact with you on how to send in your jewelry for repair. Please select multiple repair service requests if you are sending in more than one necklace or bracelet at a time.
Send in a Baltic Amber necklace, bracelet or anklet you have purchased from us or from another retailer for repair. We will do our best to restring and replace the clasp with another twist clasp that is the closest match to your amber jewelry. If you have beads from a few broken necklaces and would like a new design created from one of our pieces, please indicate that in the notes section of this order and we will do our best to make a new piece of jewelry to your specifications. If you are interested in one of our own necklaces or bracelets, but require a different length, we can restring the piece before it ships out, repair charge would apply.
Repairs take approximately 4-6 weeks and include a complete restring and replacement of clasp only, no beads will be replaced that might have fallen off and lost when the necklace broke, unless included in the envelope. Clasp or string may not match necklace exactly, but we try our best to match it to the necklace color. Breakaway clasps will be replaced with screw clasps. Repairs will make the necklace like new again. Restring will be done with the finest silk or nylon cords, with a knot between each bead, making it secure to use on a child again.
Pack up your broken jewelry into an envelope or small baggie and wrap it in tissue and bubble wrap well so it doesn't get damaged further during the shipping process. Mail your package with a tracking number or delivery confirmation number and insure it if you wish. If you have more than one piece you are sending in for repair, please separate the beads into different envelopes inside the package you send to us and make sure to purchase multiple repairs. You will be contacted via email after order has been placed on where to mail your broken amber jewelry.
Please describe what you item you will be sending in and what you wish to have done, i.e. replacement of clasp, restring, redesign, ect, in the text box below. Fill out a new form for each piece you send in.
